Roslyn is a beautiful, historic village, nestled in the hills of Long Island’s Gold Coast. It is situated on Hempstead Harbor, and at one time was an active mercantile port. Today Roslyn is known for its collection of beautifully restored houses and buildings, historic monuments and vibrant downtown. Roslyn is also home to the Bryant Library which hosts lectures, book signings and art exhibits and Gerry Park, a beautiful 16 acre green space in the middle of the Village where you can sleigh ride in the winter and enjoy outdoor concerts (sponsored by the Roslyn Chamber of Commerce) during the summer.
